Child First is an Early Childhood Intervention in-home program helping struggling families build strong relationships that heal and protect young children from:  trauma (domestic violence, death in family, divorce, homelessness, etc. and toxic stress (difficult behaviors or delays in development, parents/guardians feeling alone/helpless, domestic violence, poverty drug use, etc.

Jones County Health Dept

The Jones County Health Department provides WIC services for pregnant women throughout pregnancy and up to six months postpartum, as well as to children birth to five years old.  They also provide well child exams, school physicals, immunizations, family planning and STD services.

Coastal Community Action

Coastal Community Action provides Home based early child care services for families in Jones and surrounding counties.  Educational services are provided to you and your children weekly in your home.  Services are provided for children birth to age five.

CDSA

New Bern Children's Developmental Services Agency and the North Carolina Infant Toddler Program offers a variety of support to families of children birth to age 3.  Services provided are developmental progress monitoring, links with community supports and resources including evaluations, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Community-Based Rehabilitative Services, Vision and Hearing services, and referrals to public schools.​
